Oliver Yandle, CAE, has been named executive vice
president of the Commercial Law League of America.
Most recently, he was senior director for SmithBucklin, serving as executive director of the Building Service Contractors Association International.
Harriet M. Bogdanowicz, MBA, is now assistant executive director for communications for the American Association of
Endodontists. She previously was senior director for marketing
and communications at the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
The American Student Dental Association has
named Danielle R. Bauer chapter relations manager. Prior to joining the ASDA, she was practice
manager at the American Dietetic Association.
Kelly E. Slay has been hired as specialist, students
and young professionals, of the Illinois CPA Society and Foundation. Previously, Slay was asset
building specialist at Sargent Shriver National
Center on Poverty Law.
The American Veterinary Medical
Association has named Sheila
Saldeen as a medical writer/
researcher/editor in its communications division. Prior to joining
Saldeen Luke AVMA, Saldeen was a medical
writer and editor at TAP in Lake Forest, Ill. AVMA also has hired
Gina Luke as assistant director of the government relations division. She previously was director of legislative policy development at the American Dental Education Association.
Louis G. Apostol has been appointed as executive
director to the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board,
the organization responsible for reviewing all residential and commercial property tax appeals in
the state. He previously was president & CEO of
the Hellenic Foundation.
William D. Pawlucy, MPA, CAE, IOM is now president and CEO of Amedco, an association management company in St. Paul, Minn. Prior to joining
Amedco, Pawlucy served as operations manager
for Blockbuster Video International.
Tracy Barrett Janosko has returned to the Chicago
Convention & Tourism Bureau as director, Washington, D.C., regional sales. Most recently, Janosko
was national sales manager with the San Antonio
Convention & Visitors Bureau. She previously had
worked as eastern regional sales manager and manager of
bureau services at the CCTB for four years.
Floyd Griffin is now director of event operations at
the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. He
previously was director of facilities management/
maintenance at Tulane University.
