The Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau has
promoted Randy Kidwell,
CHSP, to associate director of sales. Previously in
charge of the CVB’s Southeast market,
Kidwell will now manage sales for its Midwest market.

News and Awards
The National Frame Building Association
has selected Association Management
Center as its full-service association management company, and has relocated its
association headquarters to Glenview, Ill.,
where AMC is located. AMC’s Tom Drake,
CAE, will serve as NFBA’s executive director.
The Baltimore Area
Convention
and Visitors
Association
recently changed its name to Visit Baltimore.
The easily identifiable name makes clear
the organization’s role as Baltimore’s official tourism sales and marketing organization, it says, and is in line with a new
industry standard that has convention and
visitors bureaus nationwide adopting
names that more clearly reflect their mission statements.
