Lending Their Touch
By Heather Ryndak Swink
As a breast cancer survivor, Judy Stahl knows firsthand the importance of the
Susan G. Komen for the Cure 3-Day Walks, in which participants walk 60 miles
to raise funds for breast cancer research. The Arizona massage therapist also
knows the importance of those who support the participants: Stahl was among
hundreds of American Massage Therapy Association members who provided
more than 5,000 walkers with chair massages during the 15-event series
nationwide last year. This year, AMTA members once again will lend their touch
by providing complimentary massages for these events.
