— a non-CEO association staff member
— for exemplary service and outstanding
accomplishments in association management.
Board Nomination Process
Changed
In 2009, the Association Forum
Nominating Committee revised the infor-
mation that is gathered from both the
nominator and nominee to mirror the
criteria the committee uses to make slate
recommendations. Face-to-face inter-
views are now incorporated into the pro-
cess and the Nominating Committee pro-
vides feedback to applicants who are not
slated for the board so they may improve
their applications and their future chanc-
