Designed with you in mind, the program year that began April 1, 2009, and ended
March 31, 2010, led to many innovations and improvements. Here are some
highlights:
Awards Program Enhanced
The Association Forum Honors program
was revamped with a new online applica-
tion form and backgrounder designed
to make the award nominating process
easier and the award selection process
more transparent. Previously open only
to association professionals, this year’s
John C. Thiel Distinguished Service Award
was merged with the Supplier Partner
Service Award and was open to associa-
tion professionals and supplier partners
who have gone “above and beyond
the call of duty” for the Association
