Gov. Jim Doyle has appointed Paul
Upchurch, president and CEO of VISIT
Milwaukee, to the Governor's Council on
Tourism. The Council on Tourism consists
of 20 members representing the diver-
sity of Wisconsin's tourism industry. The
board advises the Department of Tourism
on how to best promote Wisconsin's
various attractions and grow the state's
economy.

The Actuarial Foundation in
Schaumburg, Ill., has been honored
with a 2010 Excellence in Financial
Literacy Education (EIFLE) Award from
